Jeremy Shumaker

Dr. Jeremy Shumaker serves as an Associate Clinical Professor at the University of California, Berkeley's School of Optometry & Vision Science, where he holds the position of Clinic Chief of Sports Vision. He provides specialized clinical services and mentors optometry interns while serving patients referred from major healthcare institutions including UCSF/Benioff Children's Hospital, Stanford, Cal Athletics, and professional sports teams across the Bay Area.

Dr. Shumaker earned his Doctorate of Optometry from UC Berkeley in 2007 and brings over 17 years of clinical and educational experience in private practice settings. His educational background is deeply rooted in the institution where he now serves as faculty.

His clinical and research expertise centers on vision therapy for learning-related vision disorders, sports vision performance enhancement, and post-concussion vision rehabilitation.
