Jeremy J. Moeller, MD, is a Professor of Neurology at Yale School of Medicine, Yale University, and holds leadership roles as Associate Dean for Curriculum (overseeing the MD program) and Vice-Chair of Education in Neurology. He directed the adult neurology residency program from 2014–2025. Clinically, he specializes in epilepsy and EEG, providing inpatient/outpatient care while supervising trainees. His scholarly work focuses on medical education, particularly assessment methodologies and curriculum design for neurology training.
Education: Dr. Moeller earned an MD from Dalhousie Medical School (2004), completed residency at Dalhousie University (2009), fellowship at Columbia University (2011), and an MSc in Clinical Education from the University of Edinburgh (2016).
Research Interests: His work bridges clinical neurology and pedagogical innovation, with emphasis on EEG education, residency training optimization, asynchronous learning tools, and equity in academic recognition. Recent projects explore microteaching, blinded award selection, and national competency examinations.
Publication Trends: Moeller's articles (2022–2025) predominantly address neurology education reform, including EEG curriculum development, residency program evaluations, and innovative assessment strategies.
