Jeremy Goldman

Jeremy Goldman is Professor of Biomedical Engineering at Michigan Technological University with joint appointments in Materials Science and Biological Sciences. His research focuses on biodegradable metals for vascular applications, lymphatic biology, and tissue-engineered grafts. Goldman directs studies on zinc alloy development, corrosion mechanisms, and vascular regeneration using in vivo models.

Recent publications examine microstructural control of zinc alloys (2025) and thrombogenicity of biodegradable metals (2024). His laboratory investigates cellular responses to metallic degradation products and develops polymeric hybrid grafts.

Collaborations include studies on nitric oxide-releasing stents and lymphangiogenesis regulation. PhD students and postdocs in his group publish extensively on biomaterial-tissue interactions.
