Jere Lipps is Curator/Professor of the Graduate School at the University of California Museum of Paleontology (UCMP), University of California, Berkeley. His lifelong research integrates marine geology, marine biology, and paleontology, focusing especially on modern and fossil protists including foraminifera.
Research Interests
- Modern and fossil marine protists, particularly foraminifera
- Marine geology and paleoecology from tropical to Antarctic seas
