Dr. Jeonghun Lee is an Associate Professor of Mathematics at Baylor University's College of Arts & Sciences. His research focuses on numerical methods for partial differential equations—particularly finite element techniques—preconditioners for multiphysics problems, and computational methods for solid/fluid mechanics. He develops robust discretization schemes for complex physical systems like poroelasticity and wave propagation.
He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota and completed postdoctoral research at Aalto University, University of Oslo, and UT Austin's Institute for Computational Engineering and Sciences.
