Jens Pesch

Prof. Jens Pesch is a Professor at Technische Hochschule Nürnberg, specializing in Organic Chemistry. His teaching focuses on reaction mechanisms, spectroscopic methods, photochemistry, and renewable materials. He leads research in green chemistry, utilizing CO₂ and urban waste streams for sustainable chemical synthesis. His work includes developing photochemical processes, microwave-assisted organic synthesis (MAOS), and creating platform chemicals for polymer chemistry.
