Jens Meiler

Jens Meiler is a Full Professor of Chemistry, Pharmacology, and Biomedical Informatics at Vanderbilt University (Nashville, TN, USA) and holds a concurrent Full Professor position in Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the University of Leipzig (Germany). His career began with a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Frankfurt (2001) and a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Washington (2001–2004). He has been actively involved in academia since 2005, advancing to his current professorial roles.

Research Interests: The Meiler Lab focuses on computational modeling, particularly through contributions to the Rosetta software suite, to elucidate macromolecular interactions, design novel molecules, and optimize conformational and sequence space exploration. Collaborations with 15 U.S. laboratories strengthen this work, emphasizing interdisciplinary approaches to biomolecular challenges.
