Jens Martignoni

Jens Martignoni is a researcher and lecturer at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW), affiliated with the Institute for Organizational Viability within the School of Management and Law. He co-leads the Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) Inventing Organizations and has contributed to societal and social innovation, as well as the design of better economic systems, for over 30 years.

Education:

• Doctorate (Dr. rer. pol.) at the University of Cologne on advanced models of cooperatives.

Martignoni’s research focuses on transdisciplinary projects exploring commons, currencies, alternative social technologies, decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs), and blockchain. His work integrates mechanical engineering expertise with socio-economic innovation to address sustainable and equitable economic systems.
