معرفی
Dr Jens Blanck serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Swansea University's School of Mathematics and Computer Science within the Faculty of Science and Engineering. His academic work focuses on theoretical foundations of computing with particular expertise in domain theory and exact computation.
His research interests span Theoretical Computer Science, Domain Theory, Exact Real Arithmetic, and Constructive Mathematics. Blanck's scholarly contributions demonstrate consistent focus on computable analysis, domain representations, and mathematical foundations of computation. His work bridges theoretical computer science with mathematical logic and numerical analysis.
Analysis of his publication history reveals sustained research in domain theory applications, with significant contributions to exact real arithmetic and stability of computational representations. His scholarly output shows progression from foundational work on domain representations (2002-2008) toward more specialized applications in computable sequences and exact computation (2010-2013).
Available for postgraduate supervision, Blanck teaches across multiple undergraduate and postgraduate modules including CS-150 (Concepts of Computer Science), CSCM28/CSCM828 (Security Vulnerabilities and Penetration Testing), and various project modules (CSP300, CSP301, CSP302, CSP344, CSP354). His teaching spans theoretical computer science concepts and practical security applications.
Based at the Computational Foundry on Bay Campus (Office 333, Third Floor), he maintains research activity documented through ORCID (0000-0001-9656-1352) and demonstrates intermediate Welsh language proficiency. His academic service includes supervision of postgraduate research projects across software engineering and computer science disciplines.
