Jenny Schmidt serves as a Lecturer at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Health, Kempten University of Applied Sciences, teaching across bachelor's and master's programs including Social Work (with youth specialization), Health Management, Gerontological Care, and Social Economy.
Her research interests focus on:
- Social Work methodologies, particularly empirical youth work
- Healthcare industry management and gerontological therapy systems
- Social care frameworks within evolving social economies
- Interdisciplinary approaches to health and generational studies
The faculty's research infrastructure directly supports her work through the IGG - Institute for Health and Generations and the Strengthen+ Competence Center for Empirical Youth Work and Social Research, which investigate generational health dynamics and evidence-based youth interventions.
