Jenny Nelson

Professor Jenny Nelson is a Professor of Physics at Imperial College London's Department of Physics, part of the Faculty of Natural Sciences. Her affiliations include the Artificial Intelligence Network, Centre for Processable Electronics, Energy Futures Lab, Grantham Institute, and the Thomas Young Centre, among others. She leads the Nelson Group, focusing on energy access, organic electronics, and materials science.

Her research spans molecular electronic materials, photocatalysis, polymer batteries, and solar energy conversion. A key project is the ERC Advanced Grant CAPaCITy, which explores designing conjugated polymers for photocatalysis and ion transport.
