Jenny Joczik is a Lecturer in the Department of English at Clemson University’s College of Arts and Humanities. She has returned to her hometown of Clemson, South Carolina, after over 35 years of teaching at diverse institutions across the U.S. and internationally.

Her research spans 19th–20th century British and Irish literature, Irish studies, world mythology and folklore, Southern American literature, ESL/EFL pedagogy, and composition theory. She actively integrates animal welfare advocacy into her scholarly and activist work.
Joczik’s conference presentations highlight interdisciplinary intersections between literary analysis and cultural identity, such as Yeats’s symbolism in Irish culture, John Donne’s theological sensuality, and Southern gender narratives. Her global academic engagement includes teaching in Denmark, tutoring in Paris, and Yeats-focused study in Ireland.
