Dr. Jenny Frank is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sustainable Resources Management at SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry. She holds a Ph.D. in Sustainable Resources Management, an M.S. in Sustainable Energy, and a B.S. in Sustainable Energy Management from ESF. Her research specializes in energy systems analysis, renewable energy policy, and techno-economic modeling of bioenergy pathways.
Dr. Frank leads research on forest biomass supply chains, residential heating decarbonization, and renewable energy transitions. She has secured funding for projects including the Offshore Wind Technician Training initiative and has published extensively on biomass feasibility and renewable energy economics. Her recent work includes stochastic modeling of biomass supply chains and comparative analysis of low-carbon heating systems.
She teaches Energy Markets and Regulation and maintains collaborations with national laboratories and industry partners to advance sustainable energy solutions.
