Jennifer Zarro is an Associate Professor and Curriculum Coordinator at Temple University's Tyler School of Art, currently on leave for the 2025-26 academic year. She teaches General Education race and diversity courses, utilizing historic and contemporary art of the Americas.
- PhD in Art History (Rutgers University, 2007)
- MA in Art History (Temple University, 1999)
Her research focuses on:
- Prints, maps, and geographical culture in late 18th-century Philadelphia
- 19th-century Irish immigrant experiences in Philadelphia art history
- Material practices in historic bookbinding, papermaking, and printmaking
A lifelong Philadelphia resident, she maintains strong connections to the city's art history while contributing to foundational art education.
