Jennifer Whitty is a Professor at the University of East Anglia's Norwich Medical School, specializing in health economics. She holds affiliations with the Norwich Institute for Healthy Aging, Health Services and Primary Care, and the Respiratory and Airways Group. With a background in pharmacy, her research focuses on patient preferences, health outcomes valuation, and economic evaluation of healthcare technologies. She has secured over AU$27 million in research funding as Principal Investigator and collaborator, and contributes to health policy via roles such as membership of the National Immunoglobulin Governance Advisory Committee.

Her research interests include:
- Evaluation of patient and public preferences for healthcare services and outcomes

Recent projects include studies on cystic fibrosis treatment burden, value-based mental health care, and social return on investment of aging-friendly community programs. Her work contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals related to health equity and quality education.
