Jennifer Singler

Jennifer Singler, MD is a Research Fellow in Pediatric Tuberculosis Epidemiology at Harvard Medical School's Program in Infectious Disease and Social Change. She is also a pediatrician and neonatal hospitalist at Highland Hospital in Oakland, CA, serving primarily low-income and immigrant populations. Her career focuses on global health equity, with extensive fieldwork in Botswana (Peace Corps), Haiti (Partners In Health), and clinical care in underserved communities.

Dr. Singler holds an MD from UCSF and has dedicated her work to improving diagnostic access for sexually transmitted infections in rural settings and addressing child malnutrition in resource-limited environments. She currently collaborates with Prof. Mercedes Becerra on infectious disease and social change initiatives.

Her research integrates clinical practice with epidemiological analysis, emphasizing practical solutions for maternal/child health challenges in global contexts. Her work in Haiti has been particularly impactful in developing scalable healthcare models.
