Jennifer Sanders

Jennifer Sanders is an Assistant Professor in the Physician Assistant Program at the School of Medicine, Southern Illinois University. She brings extensive clinical experience from her work in cardiology and cardiac imaging to her academic role.

• Master of Science in Physician Assistant from Southern Illinois University of Carbondale
• Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Sciences from Southern Illinois University of Carbondale

Her research and teaching interests focus on integrating clinical cardiology expertise with medical education, particularly for Physician Assistant training. She has worked in both inpatient and outpatient cardiology settings, specializing in interventional and structural cardiology, and has prior experience in cardiac catheterization laboratories.
