Jennifer Platt

Jennifer Platt, DrPH is an Adjunct Professor in Public Health at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She earned her DrPH in 2012 and has nearly three decades of leadership experience in policy and program development, implementation, and evaluation across domestic and international settings, spanning government, private, and nonprofit sectors.

Her work integrates systems thinking to address complex challenges. Dr. Platt founded TickWarriors (2016) to provide eco-friendly tick protection and co-founded the nonprofit Tick-borne Conditions United (TBCU) (2018) to bridge gaps between patients and emerging research on tick-borne illnesses like alpha-gal syndrome.
