Jennifer Mailloux is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychological Science at the University of Mary Washington (UMW). She joined UMW in 2003 after completing a postdoctoral research associateship at the John B. Pierce Laboratory at Yale University.
Her research focuses on sensory information processing, particularly how weak external and internal body sensations influence behaviors such as sexual satisfaction, object recognition, and eating. She has contributed to peer-reviewed journals including Biological Psychology and Psychosomatic Medicine.
Dr. Mailloux teaches courses like Biological Psychology, Sensation and Perception, and Psychopharmacology. She holds a Ph.D. in Biopsychology from Stony Brook University and a B.A. in Psychology and Art History from Fairfield University.
