Jennifer L. DeFazio

Jennifer L. DeFazio, MD, FAAD, is a board-certified dermatologist and Physician Scientist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK). Her clinical expertise includes diagnosis and management of skin cancer, dermatologic surgery, and oncodermatology, with a focus on non-surgical treatment of skin cancer.

Her research explores skin cancer prevention, melanoma detection, and machine learning applications in dermatology. She has authored studies on topics such as melanoma excision depth, AI-driven diagnosis, and post-surgical imaging protocols.

Dr. DeFazio teaches dermatology residents through lectures and journal reviews. She is affiliated with the Dermatology Service at MSK’s Skin Cancer Center in Hauppauge, NY, and works closely with multidisciplinary teams to advance clinical care.
