Jennifer Ko

Dr. Jennifer Ko serves as Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Chapman University's School of Pharmacy since June 2023. A board-certified ambulatory care pharmacist, her clinical expertise stems from PGY-1 primary care and PGY-2 global health ambulatory care residencies.

Her academic credentials include:

Research focuses on advancing health equity through academic and clinical innovation. She investigates service-learning methodologies, global health integration, and DEI frameworks in pharmacy education. Clinically, her work targets underserved Spanish-speaking populations through pharmacist-led interventions addressing medication access barriers, chronic disease management, and systemic health disparities.

Dr. Ko established clinical pharmacy services at a Federally Qualified Health Center serving Spanish-speaking patients and pioneered Chapman's interprofessional DEI course as committee member and coordinator.
