Jennifer Kim Lee

Jennifer Kim Lee, MD is a board-certified urogynecologist specializing in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. She practices with Kaiser Permanente and volunteers at UC Irvine teaching residents and fellows. Dr. Lee specializes in treating pelvic floor disorders including pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, bladder disorders, and anal incontinence.

Originally from the Chicago suburbs, Dr. Lee completed her undergraduate biochemistry studies and medical school at the University of Illinois. She completed her Ob/Gyn residency at Cedars Sinai Medical Center followed by a fellowship in urogynecology at UC Irvine. She joined the Permanente Medical Group in 2007 and maintains an active California medical license (A81453).

Her research focuses on identifying barriers that prevent women from seeking care for urinary incontinence. Dr. Lee offers comprehensive treatment options ranging from conservative therapies to surgical interventions for pelvic floor disorders. She is fluent in English and Spanish, enhancing her ability to serve diverse patient populations in Southern California.

Dr. Lee considers being a physician 'a tremendous privilege' and is committed to improving women's health. Outside her medical practice, she maintains a balanced lifestyle with her husband and two children, enjoys kickboxing, and is an active member of her local church community.
