Jennifer J. Young, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiological Sciences at the UC Irvine School of Medicine. She is a board-certified diagnostic radiologist affiliated with UCI Health, specializing in breast imaging and cancer diagnostics. Her clinical practice spans multiple UCI Health facilities including UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange and specialized breast care centers in Costa Mesa and Fountain Valley.
Dr. Young earned her medical degree from Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine. She completed an internship at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton, followed by a diagnostic radiology residency and breast imaging fellowship at UCLA's David Geffen School of Medicine.
Her primary research and clinical focus is on mammography and breast cancer detection, contributing to advancements in diagnostic radiology practices within academic and clinical settings.
