Jennifer Hoxworth serves as an Assistant Teaching Professor (3/4-time position) in the Department of Mathematics at Rowan University. She is affiliated with the College of Science & Mathematics and holds three degrees from Rowan: a B.S. and M.A. in Mathematics, and a B.A. in Fine Art. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes creating engaging, accessible learning environments through evolving pedagogical methods.
Current responsibilities include teaching Calculus I (online), Calculus III, and Math for Engineering Analysis in Spring 2025. Office hours are held virtually on Thursdays 8:00-9:30 AM, in-person Mondays/Wednesdays 4:30-6:40 PM, and by appointment. She also edits the department's Vectors newsletter.
Outside academia, Hoxworth volunteers as a firefighter and enjoys artistic pursuits, international travel (visiting 12 countries including Iceland and Italy), cycling, and LEGO collecting.
