معرفی
Jennifer Green is a Clinical Associate Professor in the School of Molecular Sciences at Arizona State University (ASU). She earned her B.Sc. (Honors I) and Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the University of Sydney, Australia. Her research focuses on the spectroscopy of liquids, particularly water and its aqueous solutions, with notable work on the glass transition properties of trehalose and its role in organism survival in arid environments. She teaches physical chemistry and science writing courses at ASU.
Education: B.Sc. (1982), Ph.D. (1987), both in Physical Chemistry from the University of Sydney.
Research Interests: Spectroscopy of liquids, water dynamics, glass transition phenomena, and biophysical applications of chemical solutions. Her work on trehalose's high glass transition temperature has been highly cited (>1000 citations for her thesis work).
Publications: Over 20 peer-reviewed articles, with a focus on liquid fragility, glass transition dynamics, and spectroscopic analysis of aqueous systems. Recent work includes studies on microemulsions, supercooled liquids, and phase behavior in saccharide solutions.
Grants and Awards: While no formal awards are listed, her research has garnered significant academic impact through high citation counts.
