Jennifer Francois is a Professor of Practice and Early Childhood Education Program Chair at Kansas State University's School of Human Sciences within the College of Health and Human Sciences. She holds a Ph.D. in Communication Sciences and Disorders (Wichita State University) and dual B.S./M.S. degrees in Human Environmental Science with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education from the University of Arkansas.

She has practical experience as a program coordinator for early care and education at Rainbows United, Inc., and currently serves as the DEC Recommended Practices Ambassador for Kansas, promoting evidence-based practices in early childhood education. She also holds board roles with the Kansas Division for Early Childhood and Riley County Interagency Coordinating Council.
Dr. Francois teaches courses including ECED 466 (Language Development) and ECED 597 (Home, School, and Community Partnerships). She collaborates with initiatives like the Divorce Education Assessment Collaborative and School of Human Sciences Extension programs.
