Jennifer Blush, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at William Peace University in Raleigh, NC. Originally from southern Illinois, she completed her education in Texas, where she met her husband and later adopted two dogs. She has been at WPU since 2019 and focuses on research in bilingual reading processes, cognitive psychology, and educational innovation. Her teaching extends to co-directing the Quality Enhancement Plan (Building TILEs) and co-facilitating the First Year Seminar curriculum.

Her honors include the 2024 Alumni Distinguished Advising Award and the 2020 Outstanding Registered Student Organization Advisor Award.
She advises the Psychology Club and plays a leadership role in institutional initiatives like the Quality Enhancement Plan, emphasizing student success and transformative teaching practices.
