Jennifer Abrahamzon

Jennifer Abrahamzon is an Adjunct Professor at Mitchell Hamline School of Law, where she co-teaches Food Safety and the Law through the Health Law Institute. She is a Regulatory Counsel at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, specializing in food safety law, with a focus on animal food safety and enforcement under the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA).

Her prior experience includes supervising the compliance unit at the Minnesota Department of Agriculture, where she enforced regulatory standards for food, feed, dairy, and meat. Her expertise lies at the intersection of law, public health, and food regulatory policy.

Jennifer's professional work emphasizes preventive controls, regulatory enforcement, and policy development in food safety. Her teaching reflects her real-world engagement with federal and state regulatory frameworks.
