Jennifer A. Wade, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Chestnut Hill College, where she also directs the Departmental Honors program. Her academic journey began with dual undergraduate degrees in Psychology and English from Bryn Mawr College, followed by a Ph.D. in Psychology from Temple University.
Dr. Wade's research focuses on complex verbal behavior, including flirtation, persuasion, and humor, with interdisciplinary integration of social psychology, behavior analysis, and cultural anthropology. She has explored applications in understanding typically developing adults and potential clinical interventions, combining animal research on preference mechanisms with human studies in educational and romantic contexts.
