Jenna Van Fossen is Assistant Professor in Clemson University's College of Behavioral, Social and Health Sciences. Her research examines how emerging technologies impact worker well-being, with focus on gig economy platforms, AI adoption, and workforce automation.
Current projects investigate identity management in platform work, trust dynamics during public crises, and occupational impacts of autonomous vehicles. Funded by the National Science Foundation, her work combines organizational psychology with technology studies.
Publications explore psychological adaptation to technological change, particularly among vulnerable worker populations. Teaching includes graduate courses on organizational development and the future of work.
