Jenna Päläs is a Visiting Researcher at the Faculty of Social Sciences and a doctoral candidate at the Faculty of Law at the University of Lapland. Her research focuses on the legal dimensions of the sharing economy, particularly contractual relations in peer-to-peer platforms, consumer protection, and regulatory frameworks. She has contributed to projects such as 'Jaava' (responsibility in sharing economy tourism) and 'ValueBioMat' (bio-oil composites).
Her research interests include technology-driven legal reform, risk management in platform economies, and sustainable cooperation models. She has published widely on topics such as short-term rental regulations, circular economy pathways, and action research methodologies.
