Jenna Kobara

Jenna Kobara is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Occupational Therapy at the University of Southern California (USC), with a joint appointment in the Keck School of Medicine's Department of Pediatrics and the USC University Center of Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD) at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Her work focuses on pediatric occupational therapy, developmental disabilities, and culturally responsive care.

Education: MA in Occupational Therapy (USC) and OTD (USC), with a doctoral project on inter-professional collaboration in Ghanaian healthcare systems. Certifications include Sensory Integration and Praxis Test (SIPT) and Advanced Practice Certification in Swallowing Assessment.

Research interests include pediatric occupational therapy interventions, sensory integration, and global health initiatives, particularly in Ghana. She actively participates in training programs like the TOTS grant for early intervention and school-based therapy.

Labs/Teams: Affiliated with the UCEDD and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Engaged in international projects promoting occupational therapy services and education in Ghana.
