Jenna Hatcher is a Professor at the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health and Associate Director of Community Outreach and Engagement at the University of Arizona Cancer Center. She also serves as Vice Provost and Special Advisor to the Provost, leading Campus Community Connections to foster inclusive campus and community environments. Her roles include overseeing the Office of Community Outreach and Engagement, leading the Community Advisory Board, and developing programs like Research Outreach for Southern Arizona to improve cancer outcomes. Dr. Hatcher holds a BSN and MSN from West Virginia University, an MPH and PhD in Nursing from the University of Kentucky, and has over two decades of clinical nursing experience in critical care, intensive care, and psychiatric care.

Her research focuses on community collaboration to address health disparities, particularly in cancer outcomes. Funded continuously by NIH since 2006, her work emphasizes engagement with Indigenous communities and marginalized groups. Previously, she pioneered inclusive initiatives at the University of Kentucky's College of Nursing, embedding equity into strategic plans and curricula.
