Jelena Trajković is an Assistant Professor of Drawing and Painting at the Department of Visual Arts, Faculty of Arts, University of Niš since 2012. She holds a BA in Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade (2004) and completed postgraduate studies there (2009). She is pursuing a PhD in Artistic Studies (Painting) at the same institution. Her artistic practice spans painting and visual arts, with 17 solo exhibitions and over 70 group exhibitions across Serbia, Europe, and the USA.
Her research and creative work explore contemporary visual arts, with a focus on painting techniques and thematic expressions. Awards include the Annual Award from the Ilija M. Kolarac Foundation (2008/2009), the Niš Art Foundation Award (2009), and scholarships from the Republic Fund (2004–2006) and Norway (2004). She has participated in international art colonies, workshops, and forums, and her works are in prominent galleries and private collections.
Her academic contributions include teaching core visual arts subjects and fostering interdisciplinary collaborations. She has no listed publications but maintains an active exhibition and research profile in contemporary art.
