Jelena Marić, PhD, is an Assistant Professor and Vice Dean for Accreditation and Quality Monitoring at the University of Belgrade’s Faculty of Architecture, Department of Urban Planning. She holds a PhD in Architecture (defended 2020), Master of Academic Studies in Urbanism (2013), and Bachelor of Architecture (2011), all from the Faculty of Architecture. Her research focuses on urban design, open spaces, healthcare complexes, and urban renewal, with active participation in EU projects like BOPALiM (COST Action CA23101). She has been a teaching assistant since 2012 and joined the faculty as a researcher in 2014.
Her professional engagements include consultancy roles for the municipality of Ćuprija and the Belgrade Fortress heritage projects. She has contributed to national/international conferences, ERASMUS+ collaborations in Poland, and four ongoing EU research initiatives. Recognized for her teaching excellence, she serves on faculty committees and has organized workshops, exhibitions, and urban projects.
