Dr. Jelena Ivanovic is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Architecture, University of Belgrade's Faculty of Architecture. She holds a PhD in Mathematical Sciences from the Faculty of Mathematics, University of Belgrade (2020), focusing on coherence and simple polytopes. Her research integrates advanced mathematics with architectural design, particularly in parametric modeling using Grasshopper and geometric interpretations of architectural forms.
Education: BSc in Mathematics (2010), PhD in Mathematical Sciences (2020). Awards include scholarships from the Ministry of Education for doctoral studies and recognition as a top student.
Research areas include category theory, convex/discrete geometry, and parametric architectural modeling. She participates in projects like the ERASMUS+ initiative and contributes to the Serbian Society for Geometry and Graphics. Teaching includes courses on mathematics in architecture and parametric modeling.
Key publications focus on geometric polytopes and their applications, combining topology, combinatorics, and architectural design.
