Jefimija Kocić is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Applied Arts, Faculty of Arts, University of Niš. She has held this position since 2016, teaching Spatial Graphics. Prior to this, she served as a demonstrator for Drawing and Painting at the same faculty in 2015. Her academic journey includes a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from the Faculty of Arts in Niš (Department of Applied Arts) and ongoing doctoral studies at the Faculty of Applied Arts (Department of Applied Arts and Design), University of Arts in Belgrade. She is also pursuing a Master’s in Design of New Media at the Faculty of Digital Arts, Metropolitan University in Belgrade.
Her research and creative work focuses on applied arts, graphic design, and digital media, reflected in her extensive exhibition record: three solo exhibitions and over forty group exhibitions globally. She has been a jury member in eight national art and literary competitions since 2014. Notably, she received a scholarship from the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development for gifted students.
Kocić has garnered significant recognition through awards, including first prizes for poster design, logo creation, and visual communication projects. Her creative output spans commercial and artistic domains, emphasizing interdisciplinary approaches to contemporary art and design.
