Jeffrey McCutcheon is a Professor at the University of Connecticut College of Engineering, specializing in advanced membrane technologies and sustainable separations. He serves as Director of the Connecticut Center for Applied Separations Technology and Deputy Topic Area Lead for the National Alliance for Water Innovation.

His research focuses on membrane separations for water/energy sustainability, additive manufacturing of customized membranes, solar-driven desalination, and electrocaloric thin films.
