Jeffrey Masten is a Professor of English and Gender & Sexuality Studies at Northwestern University, serving as Director of Undergraduate Studies in English. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania and has held teaching positions at Harvard University and the University of Michigan. His research focuses on early modern English literature, book history, and queer theory, with notable works like Queer Philologies and Textual Intercourse. He co-edits Renaissance Drama and has been honored with the Guggenheim Fellowship and the Charles Deering McCormick Professor of Teaching Excellence award.
