Jeffrey Larsen, Ph.D., is a Research Professor at the US Naval Postgraduate School’s Department of National Security Affairs in Monterey, CA. He previously served as Director of the Research Division at NATO Defense College (2013–2018) and held senior roles at Science Applications International Corporation (1997–2013). With a 21-year Air Force career (including KC-135 command and academic roles), he now advises on national security, NATO strategy, and arms control. His expertise spans US national security, NATO policy, nuclear deterrence, and European security.
