Jeffrey Kurtz

Jeffrey Kurtz is an Instructor of Business Administration at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign's Gies College of Business. He holds an MBA from the University of Illinois and a B.S. in Marketing & Business Administration from Illinois State University. His expertise spans consulting, technology commercialization, strategic planning, and project management. He has supervised over 150 students annually on client projects and led the MS Technology Management Program, increasing enrollment by 60% and graduate placement rates to 70%.

Research interests include enhancing consulting methodologies, strategic solution development, and optimizing client-consultant relationships. He has mentored consultants on problem definition and relationship management. His teaching has been recognized with the List of Outstanding Teachers award for 18 years.
