Jeffrey Komar is an Assistant Professor at Western University's Don Wright Faculty of Music, specializing in viola performance and music education. He completed his Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) at Western in 2023, studying under Sharon Wei of the New Orford String Quartet. His research focuses on collaborations between non-Indigenous musicians and the Siksikaitsitapi (Blackfoot) First Nations communities, supported by SSHRC funding.
