Jeffrey Borer

Jeffrey Borer, MD, is a Professor of Medicine, Cell Biology, Radiology, and Surgery at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center. He also serves as Director of The Howard Gilman Institute for Heart Valve Disease and the Schiavone Institute for Cardiovascular Translational Research. Additionally, he holds an Adjunct Professor position in Cardiovascular Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College (Cornell University). His career spans over five decades with leadership roles including former Chairman of the Department of Medicine and Chief of the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine.
