Jeffery G. Saven

Jeffery G. Saven is a Professor of Chemistry at the University of Pennsylvania's School of Arts & Sciences and co-Chair of the Biochemistry Undergraduate Major Program. He holds a BA from New College of Florida, a PhD from Columbia University and University of Wisconsin, and completed postdoctoral research at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign (1993-1997).

His research focuses on theoretical and computational chemistry, applying statistical mechanics to study biomolecules, polymers, and condensed phase systems. Key areas include computational protein design, biomolecular simulation, and understanding protein sequence-structure relationships.
