Jeff Volosin is a Professor and Chair of Astronautical Sciences and Uncrewed Systems at Capitol Technology University. With a 38-year career spanning NASA and industry roles, he specializes in flight dynamics, satellite operations, and advanced space technology. His leadership roles include acting Vice President at Honeywell and Associate Director of Earth Sciences Flight Projects at NASA. He holds a B.S. in Space Science from Florida Institute of Technology (1986).
His research focuses on small satellite systems, constellation networks, and human life support systems. Notable projects include managing the $350M TESS mission and co-authoring the textbook Space Mission Engineering. He has received over a dozen NASA awards, including the prestigious Distinguished Service Medal (2024).
