Jeff Harter

Jeff Harter is a Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Illustration at the School of Art, College of Art and Design at Rochester Institute of Technology. He holds a BFA from SUNY Buffalo and an MA from Syracuse University in Illustration.

His research interests focus on character design for entertainment, world-building for games and books, and visual branding for publishing. He has contributed to major franchises like Disney’s Hercules, Mulan, and Tarzan, and developed animated series including Packages from Planet X and Boy, Girl, Dog, Cat, Mouse, Cheese.
