Jeff Foster is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Computer Science at Tufts University, and Chair of SIGPLAN. His research focuses on advancing reliable and secure software development through programming languages, software engineering, and security innovations. Previously, he held a Professor position at the University of Maryland, College Park, where he was part of UMIACS and PLUM groups. He is a member of TuPL and an ACM Fellow.
