Jeff Dyche is a Professor in the Department of Psychology at James Madison University's College of Health and Behavioral Studies. His research focuses on sleep, chronobiology, and neurobiological processes, utilizing animal models to study psychopharmacology and bioelectromagnetics.

Dr. Dyche teaches courses in Sensation and Perception, Biopsychology, and advanced seminars on Sleep & Circadian Rhythms. His current research examines how sleep deprivation affects cognitive performance and decision-making, with recent investigations into the effects of antidepressants on sleep regularity. He maintains an active neuroscience research laboratory investigating sleep mechanisms using rodent models.
