Jedson Pinto is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) since 2020, affiliated with the Naveen Jindal School of Management (JSOM). He holds a PhD from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (2020) and dual MA/BA degrees from FUCAPE Business School (Brazil, 2015). His research focuses on disclosure, information production, and capital markets, with notable work on blockchain transparency, social media toxicity, and regulatory impacts.
