Jed Brown is an Associate Professor and Associate Chair of Inclusion in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Colorado Boulder. He holds a Dr.Sc. in computational methods from ETH Zürich and has a background in developing high-performance scientific computing tools like the PETSc library. His research focuses on fast algorithms, parallel computing, and robust community software for modeling physical systems.
